North West Regional Brass Bands
Championships Committee

The Regional Committee is an autonomous body responsible for the organisation of the North West Regional Championships, which determine the bands who qualify for an invitation to the finals of the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain, owned by Kapitol Promotions Ltd.

Any band whose bandroom is located within the boundaries of Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Isle of Man, Lancashire, Merseyside and Northern Ireland is eligible to compete in the North West Regional Championships held at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool.

All officers and regional committee members are elected at the Annual General Meeting in accordance with the NWRBBCC Constitution. The AGM is usually held in November and all bands on the grading table are invited to send a representative to this meeting.
